*Christmas, GASP!*
If you’re that person who’s thinking I’m crazy because it’s not even November yet… Fear not! Around here, it’s never too early to start planning your next nail appointment.
You might not know this about me… but I love having my nails done. It’s one act of self-care that I will never compromise on. And because I love having my nails done, I’m always taking screenshots of nail inspiration for the next season, holiday, and event.
So if you’re not the type of person who’s *obsessively* scrolling through nail inspiration – then you should also fear not! I’ve rounded up all the best Christmas and Holiday nail inspiration for 2023, in one simple place.
I know that this season is usually filled with over-the-top Santas, red and green everything, and far too much glitter! But there are plenty of beautiful ways to showcase your festive spirit more subtly and aligned with your style.
(That doesn’t mean I’m cutting red, glitter, and sculpted Santas out of this post! I’m here for over-the-top nails being the shining point of our personalities, I’m just going to be sharing with you a bit of both.)

A-List Red
This bold Essie red is made for the runway and is called A-List Red for a reason.
Red has definitely been a color of 2023. Over the summer red nails were taking off thanks to a gorgeous manicure shared by one of our favorite nail inspo girlies, Hailey Bieber. But we also saw red dominate the runways this fall and shared that red was one of our favorite trends of the season.
I personally love that we’ve so much bright and bold red this year. It’s a color with so much pop and personality. Besides, there are tons of fun ways you can turn red into a gorgeous Christmas manicure. Just look at some of my personal inspiration here.
Soft White
Funny Bunny from OPI is an elegant color for the holidays.
Another color that would make for some gorgeous Christmas-themed manicures, this color is for my girlies who want something soft and quiet for the season.
Whether you’re celebrating a white Christmas, or escaping to the beach this year, a soft white is always a good choice for your Christmas and Holiday nails.
Silver Metallic
This color is called Happy Anniversary from OPI and gives glitz and glamour without being over the top.
The perfect color to take you into the new year, I’ve been seeing a lot of subtle metallics this time of year.
What I love about this silver metallic is how it changes in the light. Depending on how you look at it, it will have a different sheen and highlight. I also love that it matches with all of the colors of the season.
Gold Metallic
Good as Gold is the metallic choice for anyone looking for something slightly more bold.
A classic silver metallic tends to be more understated while a gold metallic is bold and beautiful. I personally love the shine of this Essie classic. It’s such a creamy gold that brings the shine and sparkle you’re looking for over Christmas.
Forest Green
I know I know, I said I wasn’t going to go all ‘red and green’ for the holidays. But this forest green from Essie is not your typical holiday color! It’s deep and rich.
If you read my 10 Fall Nail Colors guide, you know that dark jewel tones are having their main character moment, and I just had to share this rich green with you for the holidays.
Navy Blue
Navy blue is another carry-over from Fall. However, for our Christmas and Holiday nails, we’re taking it one shade darker.
This color from Essie is called After School Boy Blazer and it’s so dark it’s almost black. But, the beauty of this color is in just the right light, the blue undertones really shine. Complex and beautiful, this nail color is a must-have for your Christmas manicure this year.
Chrome
Chrome nails have never been easier! Now all you need is the Red Carpet Manicure & Insta-Chrome Gel.
If you love this chrome idea for Christmas, take it one step further and try a chrome snowflake manicure! This manicure is *giving* Christmas!
Glitter
This dip glitter is aptly named “Pop That Bottle” and isn’t that what the holidays are all about?

Neutral
Lastly, a creamy neutral. This is “Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around” from OPI. It’s beautiful!
I know plenty of girlies that just want a neutral, natural look, no matter the season. That’s why I never finish a round-up without sharing my favorite neutral of the moment.
