Pumpkin spice and everything nice, fall is finally here! I’ve been talking quite a bit about how excited I am for autumn this year. I love summer in New York but nothing beats fall. And what better way to celebrate the season than with new nail colors? I’m a fashion girlie who’s always got her nails done. 

So, whether it’s a visit to the salon or a home manicure (follow this guide), I always feel more put together with a fresh manicure, and I always like my manicures to highlight the best of the season. 

You loved my 12 summer nail colors and trends, so let’s keep it going with the hottest nail colors for fall 2023. I’ve already shared the top trends we saw walking down the runway (find those here), and now I’m going to turn those trends into nail colors and designs for fall 2023. 

Personally, I love Essie’s nail colors. I always find them to be really high quality, smooth and lasting! Because of that, I’ve rounded up my favorite fall nail colors around Essie’s varying shades and types. 10 Fall 2023 Nail Colors & Trends

This fall we’re seeing a lot of darker neutrals, this post is full of dark browns, jewel tones, and latte nails. What better way to combine some trends than with a deep jewel-tone plum that has just the slightest hint of brown blended with purple? This color is gorgeous and is sure to compliment all skin tones. 

We saw it all across runways and we’re seeing it now, across Instagram as a hot nail trend. It’s such a nice pop of color, and while we usually stick with darker, moodier colors for fall, it’s nice to see a bright, bold nail this season. There are not many bright and bold colors for fall this year, but bright red is definitely one of them.

As I said before, we’re seeing a wide range of browns as a popular nail color this season. Whether you’re ready to go bold with dark brown or want something lighter like a latte, there’s bound to be a brown for you this autumn.

It’s the color of pumpkin pie after all! I wouldn’t normally pick an orange nail, but this orange from Essie is rich and beautiful. If you want to mix it up with a bit of color this season, you can’t go wrong with this unique choice.

Fall 2023 is definitely bringing out a lot of darker colors, but that doesn’t mean you have to go dark. Picking a lovely sage green color can compliment your style and the season. 

I personally think you need to be a bit more careful with a deep brown, and make sure that you pick a shade that compliments your skin tone.

Essie shared some of their favorite yummy shades of yellow for fall, but I personally loved this lighter color. I do love that yellow is trending this fall. It’s a fun way to add a pop of color to your routine as the days get shorter and darker. 

Deep, full shades that really match the changing season. If you want to experiment with a darker color, but you don’t want to fall back on black, I recommend a nice deep green for autumn this year. 

With fall fast approaching, I’m definitely looking forward to new trends, styles, and colors to experiment with. Whether you’re looking for bright colors or earthy tones this fall, there’s bound to be something for everyone.
